Farm News
Remember that even if there is nothing blooming, Lavender Ridge Farms is still a great get away from the rat race and scorching heat of the metroplex. We are usually a few degrees cooler here. The Gift Shop and Café are still open each weekend. The Gift Shop is open Friday-Sunday 9-5 and the Café 11-3. Even though it’s hot outside we are still here for you to enjoy a little bit of country.
Getting Ready for Fall!

It’s hard to think about cooler weather with all of this heat, but, Lavender Ridge is busy making preparations and plans for cooler weather.
The seedlings are growing and ready to go in the ground for our fall garden of you pick vegetables, zinnias and sunflowers. Tomatoes, squash, peppers and more should be ready for picking around Oct.1st as well as zinnias and sunflowers.
The zinnias and sunflowers will be $12.00 to fill a 32 oz. cup with as many of the bright and beautiful flowers your cup will hold. No need to bring anything, we will provide you with the scissors and the Lavender Ridge Farms cup to create your own bouquet to take home and enjoy.
The vegetables will be $12.00 to fill a basket that is approx. 8”x16” and 4” deep. You can mound the vegetables as high as you can without them falling out, take them home and enjoy a fresh and delicious meal. Yumo!
