Cupid Comes to Lavender Ridge

February 14th is Valentines Day and what better time to celebrate the love of lavender and chocolate? Join us February 13-15 from 2-4 each day for a lavender and chocolate dessert tasting. Treat yourself or your sweetie to 10 different sampling of delicious lavender and chocolate desserts. The cost is $15.00 per person. Reservations and prepayment must be made by February 11th.

February 13-15 we will also be serving a special Valentines Day Dinner that will include one of our delicious desserts. We will offer our famous lavender Pork Tenderloin and a shrimp and pasta dish , both with wonderfully seasoned sides, a garden salad, bread and that wonderful lavender herb butter! The price for this Valentine Dinner is $17.95 per person The Café is open 11-3 for lunch and 5-10 for dinner. Please make your reservations early as space is limited.

Fort Worth Stock Show Great Success

Thanks to all of you that visited us at the Fort Worth Stock Show! We enjoyed the long outing and made new friends and gained lots of new fans. We will be exhibiting through February the 8th. The Farm and Café will open back up for business Thursday the 12th. Gift shop and farm 9-5 Thursday—Sunday, the Café is open for lunch 11-3 and dinner 5-10 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Cooking With Lavender Class

February 28th will be our next “Cooking With Lavender” class. If you haven’t made it to one of our cooking classes before now, why not start the year out by doing something new and different? Everyone has a good time and we will share a delicious lunch that you help prepare. The cost is $25.00 per person and reservations and prepayment must be made by February 25th. The menu for this cooking class will be lavender pan roasted chicken, lavender honey carrots, salad greens with lavender vinaigrette, smoked gouda grits, rolls with lavender butter and chocolate lavender cake. YUMO!

All Texas Garden Show

February 27—March 1 We will be at Arlington Convention Center at the Neil Sperry All Texas Garden Show. This show offers every facet of gardening from unusual flowering bulbs to garden décor, seminars and much more. Please stop by and see us.

Art Attack!

April 18th is our next Art Attack. We will have artist of all types selling their wares, good food and performances by North Texas Central College performing arts department as well as other local talent. Our stage is being built as we speak in order to be ready for an outstanding day! Strawberry Daze
By the end of April and hopefully a little earlier our strawberries will be ready for picking. We planted 13,500 little plants in October so there will be plenty for everyone to pick. Great experience for children as well. We will be celebrating Strawberry Daze through the month of April and first part of May. At this time come and enjoy picking fresh ripe strawberries for the family and also enjoy a strawberry dessert in the café. We will have different strawberry dishes featured in the café during this time.

Lavender Festival

May 23-25th, Memorial Day weekend will be our first LAVENDER FESTIVAL. Vendors selling everything from antiques to handmade creations will be set up around the lavender field for shopping, performances on the stage, lots of good food, and of course the lavender will be at it’s peak for cutting bouquets. Again anyone interested or if you know someone that would be interested in being a vendor please contact us.
