Here's wishing you and yours a very happy holiday season! We want to take the opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and friendship. It brings us great joy to reflect on all the new friends we have met at Lavender Ridge Farms over the past year and always look forward to meeting more.

As we look back we have come along way over the past year and we are looking forward to another great year of new changes to the farm. Things just keep getting better.

Next year will bring some exciting changes around here. For starters we will be adding on to the butterfly garden to attract even more butterflies. We decided against planting strawberries for 2010 but will have an earlier crop of vegetables for picking. Our Lavender Festival on Memorial Day weekend has already grown to 30 vendors and a dog agility course show that will be very entertaining for all. And if we can squeeze it in we will plan to develop a nature trail with a scenic overlook that everyone will enjoy.

Upcoming events and important dates to remember:

• Starting Dec. 24th the farm will be closed until the first weekend in March.
• We will be at the Ft. Worth Stock Show from Jan. 15th-Feb. 7. Please stop by and say hello if you are there. Itís always good to see a familiar face.
• Cooking with lavender classes will begin again in late February or March.
